My priorities now...


I seem to work best with a plan and at the moment I need to get back to the basics and remember what my priorites are:

  • Taking control of finances:
    • Limit debting - do not carry cards with me
    • Reduce costs, look at ways to restructure finances such as transferring balances and re-financing
    • Focus on bills
    • Eat at home as often as possible
    • Be clear about goals - I want to clear debt to enable saving for new home.  Remember goals as often as possible to help keep me on track.
    • Focus on adventures rather than things
  • Program:
    • Work with a sponsor
    • Eat at home as often as possible
    • Widen friendships
  • Well being:
    • Exercise, find some new walking friends
    • Adventure in the outdoors
    • Check in with a professional
    • Family and friends - be open to new and old connections, include my Mum in my weekends.
    • Limit weekend computer use
    • Take some risks - with people and places
    • Work on my character defects
  • Adventure:
    • Camping on Cockatoo Island
    • Easter 'daily' adventures
    • Snorkeling
    • Sydney Walks book - one a month
    • Visit some new suburbs
    • Aboriginal Sydney
  • Creativity:
    • Redfern photos
    • Silvey Gifts - Books, Bag and Moo cards
    • Scan photos
    • Still lifes in domes
  • Career:
    • Find a Mentor
    • Sieze training opportunities
    • Watch relationships
    • Minimise defects; start by owning them
  • Home:
    • Only key purchases:
      • Fridge
      • Washing machine
      • Scanner
      • Photo wall frames (can not debt for them)
    • Improve what you have:
      • Photo organisation
      • Finish wardrobes
      • De clutter
    • Take care of my home
